The Longest Table
Opinions seem to be getting harsher and more extreme in the Netherlands, and divisions between groups are growing. Online in the comments, in discussions and in headlines people are diametrically opposed to each other. While most Dutch people do not want to lose each other and want to connect.
The problem is that we meet less and less. That there are fewer and fewer places where we automatically get into conversation with people we don’t know or are further away from. Where we are not placed face to face but can sit comfortably next to each other.
That’s why Refugee Company and A Beautiful Mess are organizing the Longest Table.
